lauri burrier –– a few words on my process

I’m a lifelong maker of drawings, paintings, sculpture, photography and film. I have also enjoyed many years designing and building gardens and garden art.

My studio art practice is focused on mixed media abstract painting on canvas and paper.

My art education includes studying art and design at the Factory of Visual Arts in Seattle in the ’70’s and filmmaking at San Francisco Art Institute 1980 - 1983. I live and work in the San Gabriel mountains of Southern California.
